Photo Challenge Delay

I will finish this photo challenge, even if I end up going into the beginning of April.  Right now, I will have a few days delay.  My second child is in the hospital right now because sickness for her is complicated by a lung condition that she has that is under investigation at present.  We are thankful for the good care she is and will be receiving, and that her doctors are making every effort to find answers to the questions marks about her health.  This has and continues to be a bit of a wearing and tiring process, so my blogging will have to be sporadic until things normalize again.  We appreciate all prayers for Selah for her good health!

#MarchPhotoADay - 7 : Something You Wore

This is an item I wore today and have been wearing since Christmas.  Thanks to my Dad for buying me a pair of these warm LAMO boots that have solved my cold feet problem in the winter.  I am one of those people that perpetually has cold hand and feet except for on the hottest days of the year, hence my constant use of this item in my wardrobe.

#MarchPhotoADay - 6 : 5PM

My typical weekday 5 PM - homework and supper prep.

#MarchPhotoADay - 5 : A Smile

#MarchPhotoADay - 4 : Bedside

Yep, I'm still at that stage with my youngest.  The items I most likely have close at hand at my bedside are for my almost-2-year-old.  Baby powder for bad diapers and Orajel for middle-of-the-night
screaming from teething.

#MarchPhotoADay - 3 : Your Neighborhood

This was one of those weekends that was busy from start to finish.  I barely had a chance to sit down at the computer, much less blog or post pictures for the March Photo A Day Challenge.  Having a smartphone with the Instagram app would make it easier, but alas, I am still in the Dark Ages of a "dumb"phone instead on which I only make phone calls.

It was a little difficult to get close to this house because it is on a curve in the road with very little shoulder not far from my house.  The local word on the house is that it is owned by someone in the Disney family and was built by the Disney's.  Apparently, it is supposed to have some resemblance to the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.  I don't know if that is true, but it makes for a fun story for a house that we see every day.

This is the sight that greets my eyes every weekday afternoon - my 3 darling school-aged girls getting off the bus and excitedly coming to tell me the details of their day.

#MarchPhotoADay - 1: Up

March Photo A Day Challenge

My friend, Janene, is game for all sorts of challenges when it comes to blogging and photography.  I'm not nearly as disciplined or creative as she is, but I'm going to join her in this March photo challenge that was created by another mom blogger at http://www.fatmumslim.com.au/2012/02/march-photo-day.html
This should be fun . . . now let's see if I can keep up, day by day.  :-)

Here are the prompts and they are open to interpretation, which is a good thing in my case because I usually need to improvise and figure out a picture that can be taken close to home and that isn't time consuming.
